Postcards from the Road features
Postcards from the Road features the works of Jeff Hagen and will be shown at Gallery 506 through the month of February. Sketches of iconic road trip destinations and images of Columbus will be displayed. Hagen is an artistic storyteller, with illustrative works available at the Columbus Area Visitors Center chronicling Columbus and Frank Lloyd Wright architecture and the creation of Chuck Taylor Converse shoes. His creative work has received featured attention from The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Milwaukee Journal, Baltimore Sun, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Publishers Weekly, Outside Magazine, and other national media, and has appeared on ABC TV’s “Good Morning America,” The Food Channel, and various NPR stations in America and The People’s Republic of China. His paintings were selected for inclusion in Watercolor USA, the National Watercolor Traveling Exhibit, the Utah Nationals, the California Nationals, Watercolor Wisconsin, and various regional and national juried shows. He was selected to become a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and has been a member for over thirty-five years. Hagen has written and illustrated eight books, and his artwork is in both private and public collection in the United States and Europe, and one of his drawings was in the collection of the US Embassy in Oslo, Norway.
