Blacksheep Craft Pizza & Cocktails

Hog Molly Brewing

And we can’t talk about Columbus bars without mentioning THE Columbus Bar, or C.B., as locals call it. It’s one of the oldest bars in Indiana, and you can feel the history the moment you walk in. Despite its age, it’s still as welcoming as ever—there’s even a separate family-friendly section. Enjoy a pint on the patio or grab a bite inside and toast to a little piece of Indiana history. 

ZwanzigZ Pizza & Brewing

If pizza and craft beer sound like your kind of pairing, ZwanzigZ will hit the spot. Their award-winning beer list is impressive, and the pizzas are always fresh and flavorful. Ask your server about their beer-mixing suggestions, they love to get creative! With outdoor seating and a family-friendly atmosphere, it’s a perfect stop for groups of all ages. 

Savage Distilling

Want something a little different? Head over to Savage Distilling, try a tasting flight to sample their lineup of spirits, including fun flavors like cinnamon and jalapeño moonshine. There’s even a pool table if you want to hang out for a bit. Savage is known for its wings and house-smoked brisket and pork. It’s a chill spot with a strong local personality. 

450 North Brewing Company

450 North Brewing Company is a brewery, tap room and restaurant located on the Simmons’ family farm just outside Columbus, Indiana. Expect to enjoy a picturesque rural setting while sipping on a tasty beer or crisp hard cider. The 450 North Brewing Company taproom is the perfect spot for a laid-back day trip with friends.

The brewery is a 10-barrel system that produces some of the finest fresh beer around! The taproom features 20 taps of constantly changing fresh beer, as well as homemade Gnarly Grove hard cider.

The Brick 

309 Walnut Street, Jonesville, IN 47274

Every town needs a classic dive bar, and The Brick is just that. Located in Jonesville, just south of Columbus, it sits right by the railroad tracks.  The crowd is local, the drink menu consists of domestic beers only, and the burgers are a staple. This is one of those “if you know, you know” kind of places. It’s 21+ only, but if you’re looking for a real, no-frills bar experience, you’ve found it. Be aware: The Brick is the only bar around that allows smoking indoors.
